Purchasing and Logistics Assistant
# You recently transitioned within the company from the logistics department to the role of Purchasing & Logistics Assistant. How does it feel?
- It’s exciting, of course! This is a new position in the company, so we’re shaping it as we go. I think my previous experience in logistics has been very helpful. At the same time, it was a bit bittersweet to leave the goods department and forklift driving. That was something I knew well, and if I may say so myself, I was a pretty skilled forklift operator.
# What’s the best thing about working at Albin?
- It feels a bit like "home." I think that’s something common in the industrial sector.
# What do you think is the key to attracting young people to work in the industry?
- Showing the modern side of the industry, with automation, robotics, and so on—what actually exists today.
# When you’re not at Albin, how do you spend your time?
- I work out or spend time with family and friends.

- These 27 years at Albin have flown by! It almost feels like yesterday that I started my journey here. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to experience so much—both professionally and personally.
# What’s the best thing about working at Albin Components?
- I’ve seen the company grow and develop, and it has been amazing to be part of that journey. Each year has brought new challenges and opportunities to learn, and I’ve always felt encouraged to strive for improvement and growth. What makes it extra special for me is the sense of community with my colleagues. Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships that make the workplace more than just a job.
# How do you spend your free time when you're not at Albin?
- When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time on the water with my family or hitting the slopes during the winter months.
